Booking Policies & Terms

I'm so excited you're considering booking with me! My goal is to make your experience as enjoyable, stress-free, and seamless as possible. The policies below are simply here to set clear expectations and ensure we're both on the same page before and after our session. Please take a moment to review them, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Booking & Retainer Policy

A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to secure all bookings.

Session and event dates are not officially reserved until both the contract and retainer have been received.

Retainers are applied toward the total session balance and are non-refundable.

Payment Policy

The remaining balance is due before the scheduled session or event date according to the following timeline:

Portraits, Seniors & Engagement Sessions

Final payment is due 48 hours before the session.

Group Sessions

Final payment is due 72 hours before the session.

Proposal Sessions

Final payment is due 7 days before the proposal date.

Courthouse Weddings & Events

Final payment is due 14 days before the event date.

Elopements & Weddings

Final payment is due 30 days before the event date.

No images will be delivered until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.

Inquiry-Based Bookings

The following services are booked through an inquiry process:

• Proposal Sessions

• Courthouse Wedding Packages

• Elopement Packages

• Small Wedding Packages

• Full Wedding Day Packages

• Event Coverage

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a date.

Once availability is confirmed, clients will receive a contract and retainer invoice. Dates will be held for a limited time before being released.

Date Hold Periods

• Proposal Sessions: 48 hours

• Courthouse Weddings: 72 hours

• Elopements: 5 days

• Small Weddings: 7 days

• Full Wedding Day Weddings: 7 days

• Event Coverage: 14 days

If the contract and retainer are not received within the allotted timeframe, the requested date may be released to other clients.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Retainers are non-refundable.

Clients may request to reschedule their session with the required notice outlined during booking. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.

In cases of severe weather, unsafe conditions, illness, or emergencies, Photos by Jadah reserves the right to reschedule services as necessary.

No-shows will be treated as cancellations and are non-refundable.

Arrival & Late Policy

Please arrive on time for your scheduled session.

Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time to accommodate other bookings.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late without communication may have their session canceled at the photographer's discretion.

Weather Policy

Outdoor sessions are dependent on safe and reasonable weather conditions.

In the event of heavy rain, severe storms, dangerous temperatures, or other unsafe conditions, sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Weather-related decisions will be made collaboratively with client safety and image quality in mind.

Creative Style & Editing

When booking with Photos by Jadah, clients acknowledge that they are familiar with the photographer's portfolio, editing style, and artistic approach.

All images are edited in a manner consistent with the work displayed throughout my portfolio and social media platforms.

RAW or unedited files are not provided.

Final image selection and editing decisions remain at the photographer's discretion.

Image Delivery

All final galleries are delivered through an online gallery platform.

Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

Portraits, Seniors & Engagement Sessions

1–2 weeks

Proposals

1–2 weeks

Courthouse Weddings & Elopements

3–5 weeks

Weddings

4–8 weeks

Turnaround times may vary during peak seasons, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.

Image Usage Rights

Clients receive personal-use rights to all delivered images.

Images may be:

• Shared on social media

• Printed for personal use

• Shared with family and friends

Images may not be:

• Altered with filters or edits

• Sold

• Used commercially

• Submitted for publication without permission

Commercial licensing is available upon request.

Model Release

Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the session, Photos by Jadah reserves the right to use images for:

• Portfolio display

• Website content

• Social media

• Marketing materials

• Exhibitions

• Educational and promotional purposes

Clients who prefer not to have their images shared should discuss privacy options before booking.

Group Session Policy

One individual must serve as the primary contact for all group bookings.

The primary contact is responsible for communication, scheduling coordination, and payment arrangements.

Photos by Jadah is not responsible for disputes between participants regarding attendance, payments, or image distribution.

Wedding & Event Coverage

Coverage begins and ends according to the contracted coverage time.

Additional coverage requested on the event date may be accommodated when possible and will be billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Timeline information should be communicated in advance to ensure the best possible coverage.

Photographer Rights

Photos by Jadah reserves the right to decline or terminate services if conditions become unsafe, hostile, illegal, or otherwise prevent the photographer from performing services safely and professionally.
